Mr. Srivastav, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the plaint filed in High Court Suit No. 435 of 2015, in Paragraph No.60 states about the valuation of the suit. According to him, the suit has been valued for an amount of Rs.17 crores and as per the Paragraph 61 maximum Court fees of Rs.3 lakhs has been paid. He submits that the Registry of the Original Side of this Court has wrongly sent the present suit to the Bombay City Civil Court whose jurisdiction is upto Rs. 10 crores only as per new Notification dated 16 January 2024.

None appears for the respondent though most of them have been served.

The Prothonotary & Senior Master (Original Side), High Court, Bombay, to verify the valuation of the suit and check whether the High Court suit bearing No. 435 of 2015 (City Civil Suit No.1946 of 2024) has been wrongly sent to the Bombay City Civil Court. 4.

Report should be furnished to this Court on or before 16 October 2025. This order to be immediately communicated to the The Prothonotary & Senior Master (Original Side), High Court, Bombay.
