DATE : 21 NOVEMBER, 2025 P.C. :- 1) By the present transfer proceedings, the applicant, wife of the respondent, is seeking transfer of the divorce proceeding filed by the husband before the Family Court at Bandra to the Family Court at Kolhapur.

2) It is the case of the applicant that the distance between Kolhapur to Mumbai is around 400 kms. Therefore, to attend the court proceedings at Mumbai, the applicant would have to travel to and fro around 800 kms. Hence, it will not be possible for the applicant to attend the court proceeding in one day. The applicant is a working at Kolhapur.

3) The applicant has filed the DV proceeding before the

4) Since none appeared for the respondent when the matter is called out, in order to give one more chance to the respondent, stand over to 8 December, 2025.

5) In the meantime, till the next date of the hearing, there will be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (C). [RAJESH S. PATIL, J.]
