This transfer Application has been filed by the Applicant, who is the wife of the Respondent seeking transfer of the Respondent - husband's divorce proceeding pending before the learned CJSD, Panvel, Navi Mumbai to the Family Court, Kolhapur.

It is the case of the Applicant - wife that the distance between Kolhapur and Panvel, Navi Mumbai is around 350 Km. The Applicant is a homemaker and does not have any male member in the family who can accompany her to attend the Court proceeding at Panvel, Navi Mumbai and return back on the same day by travelling again 350 Km. It takes around 8 hours to travel from Kolhapur to Panvel, Navi Mumbai considering the road conditions. Hence, it is not possible for a Anand

The Respondent - husband has his own shop for watch repairing at Khopoli, District - Raigad.
