The present Application seeks transfer of Marriage Petition No. 598 of 2025 from the file of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Junnar to Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pandharpur.

Though, the Respondent has been duly served, nobody appears on his behalf.

It is contended that the distance between Junnar and Pandharpur is approximately 300 km. The Applicant has a two-year-old son. It is further submitted that the Applicant has recently initiated proceedings under the DV Act before the learned JMFC, Pandharpur. The contentions raised in the Application have remained uncontroverted.

Considering that the Applicant has a minor child aged two years and the considerable distance between Junnar and Pandharpur, it would be difficult for the Applicant to travel from Pandharpur to Junnar to attend the proceedings and return on the same day, leaving the minor child in the care of others. In these circumstances, a case is made out for transfer. Hence, the following order:

a) Miscellaneous Civil Application is allowed.

b) Marriage Petition No. 598 of 2025 is directed to be transferred from the file of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Junnar to Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pandharpur.
