On 16.12.2024 this Court has directed de-freezing of the account of the petitioner inspite of that we are informed that the same was not de-freezed for last more than three months. It is informed that only yesterday the account was de-freezed. 3.

Mr. Mohta, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank tried to impress upon the Court by stating that there is nothing much to do but for communicating the decision of this Court to the Freezing Authority at Hyderabad by the Branch Manager where the petitioner is having her account.

It is a fact that the petitioner has suffered at the hands of the respondent-Bank for non-compliance of the order dated 16.12.2024 for a period of more than three months.

That being so, we deem it appropriate to direct the Highest Officer of the State Bank of India posted in Nagpur to file an affidavit explaining the aforesaid, failing which this Court will be constrained to pass appropriate orders, including that of strictures against the State Bank of India.
