DATE : 03.12.2025 Today, the learned AGP, on instructions from the respondent, made a statement that the order of which contempt is alleged is under challenge in Criminal Writ Petition No.969/2025. This Court has issued the notices in that matter and fixed on 09.12.2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that there is no stay operating in the said writ petition, and the material which is in the custody of the respondent No.2 is perishable and hence, he is seeking indulgence of this Court in the matter.

In view of these circumstances, the respondents are made clear that merely the pendency of Prity

2 / 2 29.cp338.2025 the writ petition cannot be a reason to put on hold the contempt petition. It is made clear that in absence of any order to stay the impugned order, of which contempt is alleged, this Court will proceed further in the matter by passing the appropriate orders and decision will be taken in the contempt petition.
