This Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act"). The disputes and differences for which reference to arbitration has been sought under Section 11 of the Act relate to enjoyment of certain property in Auroville, located in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The dispute resolution is meant to be carried out by a forum titled "Funds and Assets Management Committee (FAMC)", which appears to be an internal forum of the counterparty. The Respondents in this Petition are the Housing Service of Auroville and the FAMC, which is a forum within the Auroville foundation. The bundle of rights relating to the cause of action ASHWINI JANARDAN VALLAKATI entirely falls outside the territorial jurisdiction of this Court. Consequently, this Petition cannot be entertained. Needless to say, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate Court with jurisdiction in the matter, to pursue the interests that he seeks to canvass. Dismissed for want of jurisdiction.
