These are Petitions filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act") seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which expired on February 14, 2025. 2.

These Petitions have been filed in anticipation of such scheduled expiry and are listed for hearing today.

It is seen from the record that by a Judgment dated February 15, 2024, a Learned Single Judge of this Court has ruled that the jurisdiction under Section 29-A of the Act ought to be before this Court in view of the arbitration originally having been commenced pursuant to this Court's order passed under Section 11 of the Act by this Court. 4.

In these circumstances, taking into account the stage at which the arbitral proceedings are placed, these Petitions are finally disposed of extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of one year from today i.e. until April 14, 2026.
