Heard the parties at some length. On the face of the Impugned Order, it apparent that the Learned District Judge dealt with the application as filed, namely, to direct the Respondent to deposit the amount awarded as a condition prior to entertaining the appeal. The Impugned Order also provides that all contentions on the requisite interlocutory arrangements would be considered when an application for stay is heard by that Court. Learned Counsel for the Appellant points to an online noting of the roznama of the District Court suggesting that the stay application was withdrawn as not pressed and the main matter is being continued. In these circumstances, the avenue to consider an interlocutory arrangement would have vanished. Learned Counsel for the Respondent submits that he has no instructions about whether the stay application has been withdrawn.

In these circumstances, to enable parties to apprise this Court about the precise status of the stay application and to appropriately mould the order disposing of this appeal, stand over to the Supplementary Board on April 29, 2025.
