The Contempt Petition is filed alleging violation of the directions issued by this Court by the order dated 11.03.2025 passed in Writ Petition No.59/2024. By the said order, the Division Bench led by Hon'ble the then Chief Justice had directed the Village Panchayat to decide the Petitioner's complaint within a period of two months from 11.03.2025.

2. The grievance of the Petitioner is that inspite of this specific order, till the filing of the Contempt Petition, no further steps were taken by the Village Panchayat, i.e. original Respondent No.1. 11th December, 2025

3. Today, Mr V. Sardessai, learned Counsel appears for Respondent No.1 and makes a statement that a site inspection was conducted on 08.12.2025 and it was found that the construction, which is the subject matter of the complaint preferred by the Petitioner, was illegal. He stated, on instructions, that within two days, the Show Cause Notices will be issued to the persons responsible for carrying out this illegal construction and the complaint would be taken to its logical end within three weeks from today.

The statement is recorded and accepted.

4. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner is satisfied with the statement. Therefore, no further directions are required to be issued in this Contempt Petition. The Contempt Petition is accordingly disposed of.
