This is an Application for fixing an early date of hearing of Writ Petition No. 683 of 2024, which is already Admitted on 13.01.2025.

2. Learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that the consequence of the prayers made in the Petition, if granted to the Petitioner, is that the Petitioner would get his retirement benefits as he is due to retire from service in June 2026. It is submitted that the Petitioner is a senior citizen and it is necessary that the Petition is decided at the earliest.

3. Considering this submission, Writ Petition No. 683 of 2024 be listed for hearing on the final hearing board commencing from 22nd December, 2025
