In response to the issue highlighted by Mr Radhakrishna Salgaonkar in the Petition, the learned Counsel, Mr Shivan Desai representing Respondent no.7, Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd, has made a statement before us that it has commenced operation of additional bus trips from Agnel College, Assagao to Mapusa and back, with effect from 25.09.2025 with the following timings: 8th October, 2025

Mapusa to Badem via Assagao 07:25 hrs, 07:35 hrs Badem to Mapusa via Assagao 14:30 hrs, 16:05 hrs. Similarly, a statement comes from the Respondent no.7 that every attempt is being made to deploy some more buses on the said route so as to ease the mode of transport, since realising that it is a busy route and at particularly busy hours, it requires more conveyance. Mr Desai assures us that upon having discussions with all those involved which shall also include the PIL Writ Petitioner, by giving him an advance intimation of the meeting to be held, some solution will be arrived at.

At the request of Mr Desai, we deem it appropriate to re-notify the Petition to 17.11.2025.
