This is an application for restoration of the writ petition, which was dismissed in default on 20.11.2025. 2.

In response to the notices on this application, Mr. A.J. Thakkar, Advocate appears for non applicant Nos. 2(1), 3, 4 and 5. 3.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

It is pointed out that when the writ petition was called out for hearing, Mr. V. D. Muley, learned counsel, who was appearing for the applicants at that time, had already expired. As a result, the matter remained unattended and it was dismissed for default, by order dated 20.11.2025.

Learned counsel for applicants submits that applicants/ petitioners want to contest the petition on merit and, therefore, seeks restoration of the matter.

Although, the application is opposed, for the reasons stated in the application and submissions advanced, in the interest of justice, the application is allowed. Order dated 20.11.2025 is recalled. Writ Petition No.3905/2019 is restored to its original number.

The application is disposed of.
