It appears that there is an arbitration Clause in Settlement of Disputes- Indian Railway Arbitration and Conciliation Rules. Accordingly, applicant issued notice to the respondent on 07.06.2024, however, there is no response from the respondent.

Again on letter dated 25.07.2024, the applicant submitted claim for request of appointment of independent sole Arbitrator to decide the claim under Arbitration Clause. In view of that, present application for appointment of Arbitrator is filed. 4.

Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 12.06.2025.

Ms Meghna Munshi, learned Counsel waives notice for respondent No.1.
