DATED : 29.04.2025 Present application is filed for restoration of Contempt Petition St. No.23849/2024, registration of which was refused by order of Registrar (Judicial) dated 10.02.2025. It is contention of the applicant that inadvertently, the clerk of the present Counsel was not marked and the said matter dismissed. It is submitted that all objections are removed in Contempt Petition, as such, prayed for restoration of Contempt Petition St. No.23849/2024 in Public Interest Litigation No.126/2017 to its original file.

For the reasons stated in the application, I am inclined to allow the application, however subject to costs of Rs.1000/- as no due diligence is shown by the learned Counsel. Accordingly, application is allowed subject to costs of Rs.1000/- to be deposited to the High Court Bar Library within a period of one week.

After payment of costs, the Registry is directed to register Contempt Petition St. No.23849/2024 in Public Interest Litigation No.126/2017 on its original file.

After registration of the same, the petitioner shall remove office objections within a period of two weeks, if office objections are not removed earlier. 5.
