This is an application for restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed in default by order dated 9th June, 2025.

Learned counsel for the applicants-petitioners submits that the counsel who was earlier appearing in the matter has expired and the notice for engagement of another counsel was sent to the petitioners, however, in view of the death in the family of the President of the petitioners, the petitioners failed to engage any lawyer and appear in the matter on 9th June, 2025. Since nobody appeared on 9th June, 2025, the petition was dismissed for want of prosecution.

The petitioners submit that now they are desirous of contesting the petition on merit and prays for restoration of the same.

Having regard to the contents of the application and the submissions advanced, the application is allowed. 5.

Writ Petition is restored to its original number. 6.
