This is an application filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking appointment of arbitrator for resolution of disputes between the parties arising out of purchase order dated 04.10.2024. The learned advocate for the non-applicant suggests the name of learned advocate Dr. Anjan De to be appointed as sole arbitrator. The learned advocate for the applicant, on instructions from the applicant, states that he has no objection for appointment of Dr. Anjan De, as an arbitrator, however, the applicant-company had some professional association with his son Advocate Mr. Apurv De in some matters. In view of the same, it will be appropriate to appoint some other person as an arbitrator.

Name of advocate, Mr. Shridhar Purohit was suggested by this Court, to which both the learned advocates agreed. Learned advocate Mr. Shridhar Purohit is appointed as sole arbitrator for resolution of the dispute
