During the course of hearing, it has been brought to the notice of this Court that the appellant-husband has not deposited the arrears of maintenance payable to the respondent-wife till date. 02.

The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that an amount of Rs.16,00,000/- (approximately) is outstanding towards maintenance against the appellant.

In view of the above, the appellant is directed to deposit an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- towards arrears of maintenance within a period of two weeks from today, failing which the appeal shall stand dismissed without further reference to this Court. 04.

Stand over to 4th May, 2026.
