DATE : 07.01.2026 The learned counsel for petitioner seeks direction of this Court to ensure that the petitioner gets the police protection for taking possession of the secured assets as per the order passed in O.M.C.A. No.820/2023 dated 05.08.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the application made to the Commissioner of Police, Amravati Division, Amravati, which is at Page 22 (Annexure 4) for providing police protection. Along with said application, the petitioner has already deposited the charges required for granting police protection. However, learned counsel for the petitioner makes a statement that the aforesaid application is not yet Prity

In view of the above, we dispose of this present writ petition with direction to the respondent No.5 - Commissioner of Police, Amravati Division, Amravati, to decide the application of the petitioner which is on record at Page 22 (Annexure No.4) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.

If the Commissioner of Police allows the aforesaid application, the police protection shall be provided to the petitioner. In case, if the respondent No.5 decides adverse to the petitioner, the aforesaid decision should be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of its decision.

With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
