Order of Joint Charity Commissioner, Amravati, permitting the respondent-Trust to sell the immovable property, is challenged on the ground that though market value of the property is around Rs.2 Crores, the Joint Charity Commissioner permitted the Trust to sell it for Rs.1.15 Crores. When inquired as to on what basis, the petitioner claims that the property is wroth Rs.2 Crores, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner came to know of the said valuation through a reliable source.

If this is how valuation of a property is to be ascertained, the valuation of the property will have then different criteria of assessment. The petitioner, therefore, shall deposit Rs.5 Lakhs to show his bona fides.
The amount be deposited within one week from today. If the amount is not deposited within one week, the writ petition shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court. 4.
