DATED : 22 nd JANUARY, 2026.
WP570.26.odt 2/3 JUDGMENT (PER :
NANDESH S. DESHPANDE, J.) 1.
Heard.
2.
Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties. 3.
Issue notice to the respondents.
4.
Learned AGP waives notice for respondent nos. 1 and 4/State.
5.
The basic grievance in the petition seems to be that the claim for regularization of the petitioner, based on the Government Resolution dated 10.06.2005, has not yet been considered by the authorities. The learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Raheel J. Mirza, by taking us through the record of the matter, submits that a representation dated 16.10.2025, which exhaustively narrates his legal rights, is still pending before the respondent no. 4 - Deputy Director of Education.
WP570.26.odt 3/3 6.
In that view of the matter, in our considered opinion, the interest of justice would be served by directing the said authority, i.e., the Deputy Director of Education, to decide the representation within four weeks.
7.
The petitioner appear before the said authority with a copy of the order of this Court on 29.01.2026 and shall apprise the authority of the said order.
8.
Writ Petition is disposed of as such.
