To my mind, a criminal writ petition will lie before the Bench having roster of criminal writ petitions, particularly considering Section 28 of the Act of 2005, which provides that the proceedings under various provisions of the Act of 2005 will be governed by the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973. Registry to verify and process accordingly.
