The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to hold the petitioner entitled for being appointed on a supernumerary post.

The contention is that the petitioner has made several representations to the respondents, which are collectively annexed at page 67 (Annexure-8). However, the respondents have not yet decided the entitlement of the petitioner. The last representation is dated 1st October, 2025, which is at record page No.206.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the aforesaid representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Respondent No.2 is further directed to consider the Government Resolutions dated 21st December, 2019 and 14th December, 2022, issued by Respondent No.1, as well as the judgment passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of the

115 WP-625-2026 Aurangabad Bench in Writ Petition No.1485 of 2020 with connected petitions, dated 16th December, 2022, while deciding the aforesaid representation. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
