Heard Shri. P. V. Thakre, learned counsel for the petitioners.

The petitioners have approached this Court praying for following relief :

"Direct the respondents to count petitioners' earlier services on daily wages basis till their absorption on the regular post of peon under the Respondent No.4/Municipal Council, Tumsar for the purpose of pensionary and other benefits;"

A perusal of the petition reveals that the petitioners have not yet approached respondent No.4 - Municipal Council, Tumsar, District Bhandara, with a prayer for the aforesaid relief of considering their earlier services rendered on a daily-wage basis till their absorption on the regular post of Peon for the purpose of pensionary and other consequential benefits. 4.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider the present petition as a representation submitted by the petitioners for the aforesaid relief. Respondent No.4 is further directed to

118 WP-628-2026 decide the said representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. 5.
