The petitioners' grievance is against the imposition of condition of requirement of furnishing a surety for the amount of Rs.57 Lakhs, vide judgment and order dated 02.07.2025, passed by the trial court, for grant of succession certificate in the name of the petitioners.

Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the succession case was not contested by any opponent and the petitioners are the only legal heirs of deceased Hargovind S/o. Ramrang Batra and as such, the imposition of any condition of furnishing a surety was

He submits that the condition of furnishing a surety is causing serious hardship and inconvenience to the petitioners, as without any reasons, they would be required to furnish a surety. In view of this, he prays for deletion of the said condition from the impugned order and expresses readiness to comply with the other condition of furnishing an indenmity bond of Rs.57 Lakhs. 5.
