In this writ petition, the petitioner inter alia has assailed the order dated 15.04.2024 passed by the Collector by which the Collector denied the claim of the petitioner for grant of permanent patta in respect of agricultural land. 4.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner has an alternative remedy under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 and he may be granted the liberty to avail of the aforesaid remedy.

The aforesaid submission has not been opposed by learned counsel for the respondents.

In view of the availability of the alternative remedy to the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. However, the same is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to take the aforesaid remedy available to the petitioner. 7.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

Rule stands discharged.
