The petitioner has approached this Court seeking challenge to the impugned notice of demolition dated 7th February, 2025 issued by the respondent No.2-Assistant Commissioner, Zone No.3, Municipal Corporation, Chandrapur. The said notice has directed the petitioner to remove the unauthorised construction within a period of 24 hours, otherwise necessary action shall be taken against the petitioner. Since the said notice stipulated the period of 24 hours, which expired on 8th February, 2025, the efficacy of the notice is lost by efflux of time. As such, the challenge in the present petition to the said notice does not survive.
