The matter was mentioned in the morning as it is brought to our notice that though from 2019 Woodball game was included in the list of the sport events which are approved with the respondent-University was discontinued abruptly.

As a sequel of above, the National event viz. All India Inter University Woodball (Men and Women) Championship 2024-25, which is organized in State of Gujrat by Parul University, Vadodra, the sport persons like petitioners are unable to participate.

Pursuant to call given by this Court, we appreciate that the respondent - University has deputed the In-Charge Director of Sports to assist in the matter of resolving the issue which is sought to be canvassed. 5.

Through this petition, the petitioners through their Counsel has invited their sufferings for failure of the

2 1.wp.1066.25 respective colleges to nominate them for participation in the selection process of the team to be nominated for the aforesaid sport events.

The last date of entry is 28.02.2025 and the last date for detailed entries is 02.03.2025.

In the aforesaid background, we deem it appropriate to grant time to the respondent - University and its authorities to submit their response till tomorrow by 4 O'clock.

We are posting the petition for further hearing on 27.02.2025 at 4.00 p.m.

The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that all the petitioners along with the other students with their respective documents shall report the In-charge Director of Sports i.e. respondent No.2 tomorrow morning at 11.30 am.
