The substitution of candidature for grant of compassionate appointment is recommended by the Block Education Officer to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli vide recommendations dated 20.2.2024 which is informed to be pending till this date.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition without causing notice to the Zilla Parishad as the order proposed to be passed is innocuous. We direct the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad to deal with the recommendations dated 20.2.2024 forwarded by the Block Education Officer as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of two months from the date of production of this order. The Chief Executive Officer shall be sensitive to the Full Bench judgment of this Court in the matter of Kalpana Wd/o Vilas Taram and another V/s. The State of Maharashtra and others reported in 2024 (4) Mh.L.J. (F.B.) 312. (MRS.VRUSHALI V.JOSHI, J.) (NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.) Tambaskar.
