The argument is that the Petitioner/husband is willing to pay the amount of maintenance to Respondent, however, the impediment is that his properties have been attached by orders passed in various proceedings. His bank account is also frozen. 3.

As such and having gone through the record, Petitioner is to be blamed for such status. Nonetheless, since the Petitioner has come up with a case that he intends to pay amount of maintenance to the Respondent and since the Petitioner has shown willingness to deposit Rs.12,00,000/- within one week from today, issue notice to the Respondent, returnable in two weeks, subject to Petitioner depositing 50% of arrears of maintenance within four weeks from today, of which, the Petitioner shall deposit Rs.12,00,000/- within one week from today, failing which, the Petition shall stand dismissed for noncompliance of the order.

In addition to regular mode of service, the Petitioner shall serve the Respondent through all permissible modes, including service by Speed Post and file affidavit of service. 5.

List the Petition in the week commencing from 14th April, 2025.
