The challenge to the order impugned dated 12th February, 2025 is not pressed as the petitioner is seeking accommodation on a supernumerary post.

It is urged that the petitioner has already made a representation to that effect with the respondent - employer. 4.

That being so, we dismiss the petition to the extent of challenge raised to the order passed by the respondent - Committee as referred above.

However, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent - employer to consider the claim for placing the services of the petitioner on supernumerary post in view of the representation dated 11th March, 2025.

Let the decision be communicated to the petitioner, based on the existing policy of the State Government, within a period of three months from today.

Till then, there shall be no coercive action against the petitioner.
