The petitioner was born to Raju Patil and got married to Sachin. After the mother of the petitioner expired, before his death Raju Patil performed the second marriage with the respondent no.3, who is granted compassionate appointment. The order granting compassionate appointment is questioned by the petitioner alleging violation of the directions contained in the Government Resolution dated 21.09.2017.

It is urged that even if the petitioner is married, still she is entitled for consideration of the claim for compassionate appointment.
