The challenge is to the interim maintenance granted by the trial Court directing the petitioner-husband to pay Rs.10,000/- per month. It is contended that the trial Court did not consider the maintenance granted to the respondent in the proceedings under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Issue notice to the respondent, returnable in four weeks. 03.

In the meantime, the petitioner shall deposit before the trial Court 50% amount of the maintenance granted by the trial Court. The amount shall be deposited within one week from today, failing which, the present petition shall stand dismissed for non-compliance of the order without further reference to this Court.
