Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Commissioner of Co-operation, Pune is hereby directed to treat present petition as a representation of the petitioner and to go through the allegations made against the Bank, particularly regarding the alleged mishandling of the petitioners' account and take decision on the same within six weeks from the date of production of this order along with a copy of the petition.

This direction is issued as the petitioner has already approached the Commissioner with a complaint; however, no decision has been taken by the Commissioner. We are, therefore, of the opinion that the aforesaid direction would

The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of such decision. 5.

If any substance is found in the complaint of the petitioner, it is expected that the Commissioner shall take the corrective measures in the matter so that the petitioners' grievance can be resolved. The corrective measures does not mean imposing some penalty, but may include issuance of directions to the Bank to rectify the mistakes and resolve the grievance of the petitioner.

The Commissioner shall take a decision only after granting an opportunity of hearing to the Bank as well as the petitioner.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of.
