The petitioner is absorbed on the permanent establishment vide order dated 17th April, 2018 and thereafter he stood superannuated on 31st December, 2023.

The contention of Mr.Borkar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner has already rendered service on temporary basis which ought to have been considered for qualifying service for calculation of all pensionary benefits. To substantiate the aforesaid, reliance is placed on Rule 57 of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982. 3.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 19th June, 2025. 4.
