Drawing support from the provisions of the Works of Defence Act, 1903 particularly section 2(b), it is the contention of the petitioner that he is "person interested" who is entitled for compensation under Section 9 by following recourse to Section 12 of the said Act, as the land of the petitioner was notified by the respondent No.1-Union of India in exercise of powers under Section 9 referred above on 27.04.2023.
