Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Petitioner No.1 was appointed on 29/06/2001 as Lab Attendant, petitioner No.2 was appointed on 29/06/2001 as Peon and petitioner No.3 was appointed on 10/01/2005 as Assistant Teacher with Khwajababa Urdu High School, Loni Takli, District Amravati. Their services were approved by the respondent No.3-Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad Amravati. The State of Maharashtra-respondent No.1 cancelled the recognition of Khwajababa Urdu High School, Loni Takli, District Amravati, due to which, the staff including petitioners of the said school became redundant and names of the petitioners were liable to be entered into a list maintained by the respondents for the purpose of absorption after which they would be entitled to be adjusted or absorbed KHUNTE

It is contention of the petitioners that the respondent No.3 has made adjustment of other similarly situated employees of Khwajababa Urdu High School, Loni Takli, District Amravati into other schools. The petitioners have made various representations, amongst which the last representation is dated 19/05/2025. The petitioners are seeking only relief of direction to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to decide their representation. In view of this, the petition can be disposed of with following order.

The respondent No.3 is directed to decide the representation dated 19/05/2025 filed by the petitioners within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioners before the respondent No.3.

The petitioners to appear before the respondent No.3Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad Amravati on 15/04/2026 at 11.00 am.

The respondent No.3-Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad Amravati is hereby directed to grant an opportunity of hearing and allow the petitioners to raise any additional prayers, if they so desire.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
