The challenge is to order dated 29-4-2025 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravati in Appeal No. 116/MVP/Pusla/Warud/Amravati/2025. It appears that the Additional Commissioner has refused to stay the order passed by the Collector.

The argument is that the Additional Commissioner has not assigned any reason while rejecting the request. 4.

Having gone through the impugned order, it indeed appears that the Additional Commissioner has not assigned any reason, much less, valid reason to reject the request. Be that as it may, when enquired, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the appeal will be decided by the Additional Commissioner within six weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent no. 5 has taken charge as Sarpanch and accordingly, makes a request to expedite the proceedings before the Additional Commissioner.

Considering the situation, the Additional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravati shall decide the appeal within four weeks from today.

The parties shall appear before the Additional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravati on 7-5-2025. 8.

With the above directions, writ petition is disposed of.
