After hearing the matter for some time when the Court was not inclined to accept the contention, Mr. Khapre, learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioner, upon instructions, seeks to restrict the relief in prayer for expeditious decision of the application dated 09.01.2025 (page 87) filed by the Petitioner before the Respondent No.2/GST Council. Considering the nature of the relief, which is now being restricted to a mere direction, Mr. Chaudhari, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.1 and Mr. Fulzele, learned Addl.GP for the Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 have no objection. In view of the

2 32.WP. 2545-2025.odt limited nature of relief claimed now, of issuance of a direction to the Respondent No.2, we are of the considered opinion, that the Petition could be disposed off without issuing notice to the Respondent No.2.

We, therefore, dispose off the Petition by directing the Respondent No.2 to take a decision, one way or the other on the application dated 09.01.2025 (page 87) filed by the Petitioner before it, within a period of six weeks from today. 4.

The learned Counsel for the Respondents to intimate this decision to the Respondent No.2. 5.

Pending application/s, if any, shall stand disposed off accordingly.
