The grievance of the petitioner is that the base price envelope was not opened and the prices of the bidders were not disclosed though as per the Tender Notice that was to be done by the respondents.

It is argued that a request, therefore, was made to cancel the tender process vide letter dated 15.05.2025 addressed to the respondent no.3-the Deputy Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare, Amravati Division, Amravati. It is further argued that there is no decision by the respondent no.3 on such request of the petitioner. It is therefore prayed that the respondent no.3 be directed to take decision on the letter submitted by the petitioner on 15.05.2025, which is at record page 187 (Annexure-6).

Considering the limited request which is innocuous, we are of the opinion that the petition can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3 to take a decision on the request of the petitioner dated 15.05.2025.

Accordingly, we pass the following order:

(i) The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3-Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare, Amravati Division, Amravati, to take a decision on the letter dated 15.05.2025 submitted by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of production of copy of this order.

(ii) Decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. No order as to costs.
