Mr. S.S. Sanyal, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the events which occurred during the pendency of the petition need to be brought on record and, therefore, he submit that Civil Application 1513/2025 needs to be allowed. 2.

He submits that by way of application for amendment the petitioner wants to bring on record the developments which occurred during the pendency of the petition and the petitioner also wants to add Block Development Officer and Administrator, whose details are given in para No.4 of this application, as respondent Nos.22 and 23 alongwith additional prayers.

Learned A.G.P. as well as Mr. Dhage, learned counsel for the respondents opposed the application and submit that the proposed amendment is not necessary for deciding the controversy which was earlier raised in the petition.

Having regard to the fact that the petition is not yet admitted and the proposed amendment deal with events which occurred during the pendency of the petition it will be in the interest of justice to allow the application. The respondents are at liberty to file their reply to the contentions raised by way of amendment.

The application is, therefore, allowed.

Amendment be carried out within a period of one week from today.

Amended copy of the petition be supplied to the respondents thereafter.
