In this Petition, the Petitioners seek a direction to the Respondent No. 2 - Director of Marketing, Pune to consider four Applications of the Petitioners regarding payment of arrears of salary and other benefits for working on various posts in the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Nagpur.
(2) Learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the amount of salary is due for a period from the date of original appointment till 2024. It is submitted that the Petitioners have submitted Representations with regard to their claim to the Respondent No. 2, however, the said Representations have failed to evoke any response. ....ANSARI ANSARI....
20wp3297.25 20wp3297.25 (3) On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the Respondent No. 2 submits that the Representations are still pending and the same shall be decided by a speaking order within a period of two months from today.
(4) In view of aforesaid submission, we direct the Respondent No. 2 to decide the Representations of the Petitioners, if not already decided, by a speaking order, within a period of two months from today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
