The sole grievance raised in the present petition is that although the seized vehicle, namely Truck bearing Registration No. MH-27 DT-1155, is owned by the petitioner, the notices were wrongly served upon the petitioner's brother.

As regard the delay in initiating action in the matter and the service of notices upon wrong person, the respondent-Collector has conducted an inquiry into the same.

In that view of the matter, considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, today, the learned Addl.G.P. makes a statement that the notice issued by the respondentTahsildar, was duly served upon the petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the same. 5.

To put an end to the dispute and finally conclude the nd.thawre

wp3793-25 2/2 issue regarding service of notice, we direct the learned Addl. G.P. to serve a copy of the notice upon the learned counsel for the petitioner, so as to enable the petitioner to raise a challenge, if so advised.

In Court, the learned Addl.G.P. served the copy of the notice upon the learned counsel for the petitioner. 7.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to raise grievance, if any, before the appropriate forum by filing appropriate proceedings.
