The petitioner by way of present petition has made the following prayer:- "(i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to expeditiously renew the lease of the subject land in favour of the petitioner in accordance with applicable Government Resolutions dated 23.12.2015 (ANNEXURE-K) and (ANNEXUREL) 02.03.2019, and accept the requisite charges and penalties."

The petitioner before filing this petition had approached before the Collector by making a representation with such prayer, however, the same has not been decided by the Collector till date.

In that view of the matter, we are of the opinion that, the purpose will be served, if the petition is disposed of with direction to the Collector to decide such representation and also while deciding such

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with direction to the Collector to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 21/03/2025 (pg.69) and while deciding the same, also consider the grounds raised in the present petition, within eight weeks from today. 5.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to furnish a copy of the petition along with a copy of this order to the Collector, within one week from today.
