The only grievance raised in the present petition is that the temple, which according to the petitioner, is about 150 years old and certain repair works are required including the construction of compound wall, we are of the opinion that the petitioner shall first approach to the respondent authority making such a request and in case any adverse order is passed or if the petitioner is not permitted to carry out the repair works in that case, he may take recourse of filing of appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum.

At this stage, therefore, we are of the opinion that the purpose would be served if the writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach to the respondent with a request for carrying out the repair works or constructing a compound wall. Accordingly, we dispose of the present Writ Petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach to the respondent by making a request for carrying out the repair works or constructing a compound wall. 3.

If such application is made, the respondent shall decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such
