The petitioner is aggrieved by a declaration of his ancestral property as 'Zudpi Jangal' by the respondent-Authorities. The petitioner has, therefore, approached this Court seeking a declaration that his ancestral property was erroneously included in 'Zudpi Jangal'. Therefore, on 21st August, 2024, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation to the respondent-Authorities for restoration of his ancestral property and mutation of his name, which is at record Page No.51 (Annexure-10). 3.
In view of above, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondent No.2-Sub-Divisional Officer, Nagpur (Rural), Civil Lines, Nagpur to treat the present petition as a representation and decide the same in view of the grounds raised and the provisions cited in the petition in accordance with law within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 4.
The respondent No.2, if feels necessary to hear the petitioner before arriving at conclusion, shall issue notice of hearing to the petitioner.
