Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner has approached this Court, seeking directions to the respondents to compute and pay gratuity for the period from 1988 to 2003, treating it as continuous qualifying service.

Perusal of the petition, so also paragraph 10 of the same, reveals that the petitioner had submitted repeated representations to the respondent-authority, thereby, requesting them to correct service period of late Shri Sureshandra Parasaram Janbhandhe and pay the gratuity accordingly. However, till date no action has been taken by the respondent-authority.

In view of above, we dispose of the present petition with direction to the respondent No.2-Joint Director of Higher Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur, to treat the present petition as representation submitted by the nd.thawre

2/2 petitioner for the reliefs prayed therein, and decide the same within eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to furnish copy of this order along with the present petition to the respondent No.2 within two weeks from today. 6.

The decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of such decision. 7.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
