Heard learned Counsel for the respective parties. (2) By this Writ Petition, the Petitioner is challenging inaction on the part of the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 in respect of proposal dated 18/03/2024 submitted by the Respondent No. 5 - College for absorption of the present Petitioner as a Junior College Lecturer in the Marathi subject.

(3) There was an advertisement issued on 17/01/2003 inviting applications for the post of Lecturer. In the year 2008-09, the Respondent No. 3 - Deputy Director of Education granted approval to the Petitioner for the Education Session 2008-09. After completion of probation period of the Petitioner, he was continued and the ..

2wp4753.25 2wp4753.25 Respondent No. 3 granted approval to the appointment of the Petitioner from 24/01/2008 on 'onward' basis. On 01/04/2021, the Respondent No. 1 took policy decision regarding absorption of teachers working in the unaided college to aided college run by the same Management. The D.Ed college in which the Petitioner was earlier working was facing closure for want of admission of the students. As such, the Respondent No. 4 - Society passed a Resolution resolving that the Petitioner working in the said D.Ed college would be absorbed in the Respondent No. 5 - College.

(4) All the Respondents in the present Writ Petition are served. (5) In view of the limited relief, we direct the Respondent No. 3 - Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Region, Nagpur to take a decision on the proposal dated 18/03/2024 submitted by the Respondent No. 5 - College, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
