2.

By the present writ petition, the petitioners, who are primary teachers, seek a declaration that the denial of one-step promotional pay scale of Headmaster to them is arbitrary and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India. 3.

It is pointed out that before approaching this Court, detailed representations were submitted making a similar request to respondent No.3 - Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, District Amravati. It is further pointed out that even the order of this Court in Writ Petition No.3895 of 2022 dated 19.09.2022 and the order dated 07.03.2025 passed in Writ Petition No.3199 of 2025 were brought to the notice of the respondents. However, there is no response to the representations made by the petitioners. 4.

We are of the opinion that, in the above circumstances, if the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to take a decision on the representation placed on record at page No.106, in light of the orders of this Court at page Nos.97 and

913 WP-4829-2025 101 and after taking into consideration the grounds raised in the present petition, the purpose would be served. 5.

Accordingly, we direct the respondent No.3 - Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, District Amravati, to take a decision, within a period of ten weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order along with a copy of the petition by the petitioners, in above referred terms. Such decision shall be communicated to the petitioners within two weeks from the date of the decision.

6.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. (RAJ D. WAKODE, J.) (ANIL S. KILOR, J.) TAMBE Signed by: Mr. Ashish Tambe Designation: PA To Honourable Judge Date: 08/01/2026 10:45:58
