IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY,
NAGPUR BENCH, NAGPUR.
WRIT PETITION NO.
OF 202 (Bhavini Raviprakash Sangekar Vs. District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Akola) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Court's or Judge's Order Coram, appearances, Court's Orders or directions and Registrar's order --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. R.D. Karode, Advocate for the petitioner. Mrs. S.S. Jachak, Addl.G.P. for the State.
CORAM :- SMT. M.S. JAWALKAR A ND RAJ D. WAKODE, JJ.
DATED :- SEPTEMBER 15, 2025.
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner.
2.
The contention of the petitioner is that the caste claim of the petitioner towards "Telangi" Nomadic Tribe (C) has been invalidated by the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Akola vide the impugned order dated 15/07/2025 on the ground that the petitioner has failed to prove her affinity. 3.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner contends and relies upon the Vigilance Cell Report wherein the Vigilance Cell Officer himself has recorded that the traditional occupation of the petitioner is goat/sheep farming and thus the impugned order contradicts its own Vigilance Cell Report. Also the fact remains that the District Certificate Caste Scrutiny Committee has issued Validity in favour of the father and the real sister of the petitioner.

In view of the above, issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 30/09/2025.
5.
